388: Twilight 2

I was asked about this place. Thank you for the question, T.
Above, you are looking at the roof of the Sony Center in Berlin. The Sony Center is part of the huge mall/shopping arcade called Potsdamer Platz. Adjoined (underground) are also access to public transport, hotels and a viewing platform called "Panoramapunkt" offering an excellent view over Berlin at 100 meters.

383: Freedom of Speech

Seen near German Bundestag. In Germany Freedom of Speech is protected according to Article 5 of the German Constitution. Articles 1 - 20 are the core principles of the German Constitution. If you ever happen to be in Berlin have a walk around the Government Buildings, the German Bundestag especially.

Sometimes I can't help but be reminded of the Danish philospher Soeren Kierkegaard who once said: "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." Sometimes this quote is hitting its target with stinging accuracy.
