BK is a 26 year old European, currently writing her Master Thesis in Educational Science. When not spending precious time at the library or at home studying, or reading comics or engaging into serious slacking, she can be found out in the streets, wandering around and tilting her head, always looking for 'something', though it's not all that clear what that something is. Or can be, for that matter. BK's favourite topics are urban scenes, landscapes and portraits. Lately though, BK is concentrating on Abstracts and Patterns.
BK mainly uses two cameras. Both are Minolta, a Dynax 300 si, called Theo I and a 300-X, called Theo II. And yes, that's just how BK likes it. Friends have suggested to dive into the world of digital photography, seeing as she always seems to be spending small fortunes on filters, film rolls and photo finishing.
"Hm, interesting thought," she said considering the idea, "but ... I'm still trying to figure out how the analog gig works..."
True, true, but at the end of the year 2005 BK decided it was time to make a change. While still enjoying the small perks of 'old school photography', BK found herself wondering about the digital world. And what was once dreamed of became colourful reality. As of December 21st, BK can still be seen wandering the streets, bending her head and arm at weird angles; the only difference is the camera hanging around her neck: Bruno, a Minolta Dimage A1.
BK can be contacted via the comment feature here on blogger, or on flickr.com where she's known as omegagirl.

it was. pearl jam's 'indifference' comes to mind.
Wow. A phantastic shot. I can't say why, but somehow it reminds me on Monty Python's song "always look on the bright side of life".
