I forgot to mention that the previous post starts a series of digitals... ehm... so yeah... digital week.

I'm really interested in what you guys think? This one or the one from before? Why? Why not?

I like the action in the first, the processing/tones of this one.

I prefer the previous one. This one i find a bit flat and uninteresting really.

Hello nogger, nice of you to stop by. May I ask, what would you have done differently?

I also prefer the first one - it has more energy sand motion.

This one might be better closer in to concentrate on the water and reflection.

Thanks for the replies. I'm certainly still thinking about the comments...

So, summary:

Processing tones can be appealling but are not worth a nickle if the composition does not work.

A focus on things that might first appear 'random' can seal the deal.

And it's always best to keep an eye open for the 'periphery' (or whatever the correct term would be).

Structure and movement work better than 'flat' shots and finally, this is something I just realized, it's best to try and experiment a little more. Take photographs at a nice pace...

Hm... off to think a bit more...
