Usually I don't give any information about how pictures were taken, but I'm really at a loss with this one.
Thing is, I used a red filter. You know one of those round thingies thatcan be screwed to the front of the camera - either way, no matter how I set the shutter od the speed, I would always get this very stark contrast that can be seen in the trees in the foreground...
I'm really wondering what I could have done differently, seeing as this is maybe the 8th attempt and I still didn't get it right...
Whoa!! What a composition and what powerful contrast!! I love this contrast. Oh, I suppose you could've used a yellow or orange filter instead, but I'm not sure the effect would be as strong, and the mood to this shot is mighty. I like it a lot!!
